Fact: one Raptor is faster than a RAID-0 array

TOM'S HARDWARE answers one of the questions I asked the first time I saw the new WD Raptors - are they quicker than two normal RAID-0 SATA HDDs. Well the answer is a resounding yes. Apparently, they are quicker, less noisier, cooler and definitely more reliable than having two Seagate SATA drive in RAID-0. Now I have to wonder whether they are faster than two 15K SCSI Drives in RAID-0. Anyone has the answer? For those of you who are still longing to know whether the best of ATI can beat the best of Nvidia, please take note. Game PC has tested two X1900XT in Crossfire against two 7800GTX 512MB in SLI. Both Rig have also been overclocked and there's also some extreme power settings used like 8x FSAA + 16x AF at 16x12. Gorgeous photos and a well written review overall. GamePC sees Nvidia's solution as being better overall.
French website Overclex compares eight GPU coolers available on the market. Traditional coolers, Passive ones as well as a water cooler have been tested. There are some good surprises and some very great buys. At the end of the day, it will depend on your affinities and whether you want to live with noise and overclock or not.

đúng là raptor mà chạy raid 0 thì trùm , nhưng chạy single thì khó mà hơn raid 0 được , nếu hơn chắc cũng xêm xêm mấy ổ 2 MB cache là cùng !
